Machinery Control Panels

Control Panel Supplier for Malaysia

Foshan-based supplier and sourcing partner for control panels, enclosures and industrial UPS shipped to Malaysia. MS IEC 61439 builds, SIRIM-certified components, FAT before shipment.

Control panels and enclosures shipped to Malaysia

We are a Foshan-based supplier and sourcing partner working with system integrators, OEM machine builders, panel builders and contractors in Malaysia. You send the drawing, the BOM or the signal list; we quote the enclosure, the internal hardware and the wiring as one scope, then ship a wired, labelled, tested panel to your site.
Panel assembly is carried out by vetted partner workshops we have worked with for years. Control philosophy, PLC/SCADA programming and site commissioning stay with you or your integrator. What you get from us is one commercial contact, pricing compared across several workshops, and a panel that arrives ready for your scope.

Enclosure shells are powder-coated before assembly. In Malaysia's humidity this coating, not the sheet thickness, is what decides service life.

What Malaysian projects buy from us

  • PLC and automation panels built to your drawing or from your I/O list
  • Motor control panels and MCC sections for pumps, conveyors and process lines
  • Outdoor and washdown enclosures — IP65 / IP66, NEMA 4X equivalents, 304 and 316 stainless
  • Industrial UPS for PLC, SCADA and instrumentation backup
  • Spare and replacement devices for panels you already run

The approval question — settle it before you place the order

Malaysia is not an open market for electrical assemblies. Under the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and the Electricity Regulations 1994, assemblies in the low-voltage band (50–1000 V AC) fall under mandatory certification: SIRIM QAS certification together with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) registration is what makes an assembly legal to install. Uncertified equipment can be stopped at clearance.
If you are buying from China, this is the part of the project that goes wrong most often. Here is how each requirement maps to what we can supply:
Requirement
Standard
What we supply against it
Assembly design and type testing
MS IEC 61439 (low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies)
Panels built and documented to IEC 61439-1 and its Malaysian adoption — clearances, temperature-rise allowance, short-circuit withstand, IP rating, dielectric test records.
Component approval
MS IEC 60947 series (breakers, contactors, isolators), MS IEC 60898
We can quote with components that already hold SIRIM certification, which shortens the assembly-level approval route. Give us the device list your certifying body requires and we source to it.
Machine electrical safety
MS IEC 60204-1
Where the panel is part of a machine, we build and label it to your machine safety drawing.
Ingress protection
MS IEC 60529 (IP code)
The IP rating is stated on the drawing and verified per build, not copied from a catalogue.
Hazardous areas — oil & gas, petrochemical
IEC 60079 series (Cosway approval in Malaysia)
We can supply the enclosure and hardware scope to your Ex classification. Ex certification itself stays with the approved body and your hazardous-area engineer.
Motor efficiency
MEPS — IE3 minimum for 0.75–375 kW motors
Where motors are part of the scope, we quote IE3 or better so the installation is not held up at inspection.
We will not tell you a panel "is SIRIM certified" before an approval route has been agreed with your certifying body — that claim is made against one assembly and one route, and anyone offering it in advance is guessing. What we do is supply the drawings, component certificates and test records the route requires, and build with certified devices where that shortens it.
The two authorities, if you want to check the detail yourself: Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) and SIRIM QAS International.

Voltage and climate — what we build for

Malaysian industrial supplies run at 415 V three-phase and 240 V single-phase, 50 Hz. Three local conditions drive most of the specification decisions we see:
  • Humidity and rainfall. Relative humidity sits above 80% for most of the year. The failure mode is condensation inside the enclosure, not rain outside it. We specify correct gland-plate sealing, breathers or drainage, and anti-condensation heaters where the duty cycle justifies the cost.
  • Coastal and salt-laden sites. Port areas, coastal plants and offshore-support yards pit carbon steel and 304 stainless. 316 stainless, or a properly specified powder-coat system, is the honest choice there.
  • Ambient temperature. Thermal design starts from a 40 °C ambient, hotter under a roof in direct sun. Temperature-rise and ventilation follow that — not a European 25 °C assumption.

Floor-standing builds in the assembly stage, before wiring and labelling.

Two ways to buy

Complete panel, built to your drawing

Send the drawing and BOM, or the signal list and the interfaces you need. We source the enclosure, power supply, terminals, protection, relays and accessories, then assemble, wire, label and test the panel. Prototype and project orders start from a single unit.

Empty enclosure, prepared to your cut-out list

If your own panel shop in Malaysia does the wiring, we supply the enclosure with cut-outs, gland plate, mounting plate, door hardware and gasket already done. Minimum order quantity 5 units.

Lead time, packing and shipping to Malaysia

Scope
Minimum
Lead time
Complete panel, built to drawing
From 1 unit
35–40 days, confirmed after drawing and BOM review
Empty enclosure, prepared to cut-out list
5 units
15–20 days
Stocked components and replacement devices
No minimum
3–5 days
Panels ship from Foshan by sea freight to Port Klang, Penang or Johor, or by air where the schedule demands it. Enclosures are crated and moisture-protected for tropical transit — desiccant and sealed liners where the panel carries electronics. We can quote FOB, CIF or delivered to site; tell us which Incoterm your finance team works with and we quote that way.
We do not quote a lead time before we have seen the drawing. The ranges above are what we will hold to; anything shorter is a promise someone else will break.

Where the demand comes from

The projects we are asked about most often sit in the industrial corridors: Shah Alam, Penang and Kulim for electronics and semiconductor support equipment; Johor for manufacturing and food processing; Kuantan and Bintulu for process and petrochemical work; and the Klang Valley for water and infrastructure.

Questions Malaysian buyers ask us

Can you build panels to MS IEC 61439?

Yes. We build and document to IEC 61439-1 and its Malaysian adoption. Send us the approval route your certifying body requires and we will tell you what we can supply against it before you commit.

Do your panels come with SIRIM certification?

Certification and ST registration are granted to a specific assembly and a specific route, so we do not offer a blanket certificate. We can quote with SIRIM-certified components and supply the drawings and test records an approval requires. If you already have an approved route in Malaysia, we build to it.

What voltage do you build for?

415 V / 240 V, 50 Hz as standard for Malaysia. Components and internal wiring are selected for that, not for a 380 V European default.

What is the minimum order?

Complete panels from 1 unit. Empty enclosures from 5 units. Stocked replacement components have no minimum.

Can you supply 316 stainless for coastal sites?

Yes — 304, 316 and 316L are all available in IP65 and IP66 builds. We will tell you when 304 is sufficient, and when 316 is the only honest answer.

How is the panel tested before shipment?

Visual wiring inspection against the drawing, continuity and insulation checks, power-on test, I/O simulation where applicable, and a FAT record set that travels with the panel. You or your integrator are welcome to witness the test.

Can you match an existing panel we need to replace?

Often yes. Send photos and, if you have them, the original drawings or the device list. Where the original devices are obsolete or withdrawn we will propose a current equivalent and tell you what changes on the wiring side.

Send the drawing and we will quote the scope

Send the drawing, the BOM, the I/O list, or even a photo of the panel you want replaced. We will come back with the scope we can cover, the honest lead time and a price — before you commit to anything.
