Specify it for control rooms, switch rooms, and non-washdown production areas. Ask for a coating specification, not just a colour - film thickness and corrosion class decide how long it lasts.

- 304 stainless resists most industrial atmospheres; 316 adds molybdenum for chloride resistance in coastal and chlorinated environments. Choose stainless when the enclosure faces humidity, washdown hoses, sanitizers, or outdoor exposure. The premium disappears the first time a coated enclosure would have been replaced.
